Triage to Care provides a bespoke service to adolescents attending independent schools, who have been suspended for substance use or other concerns. This service offers fast access to treatment with initial treatment within 24 - 48 hours of first contact (including weekends).
As part of Triage to Care, Jodie Matar, the Principal Psychologist, works closely with the adolescent, parents and the school throughout the process and co-ordinates with each party and between multi-disciplinary care and parents to return terms of a plan to return to school.
Triage to care often involves multi-disciplinary care (such as a General Practitioner, Psychiatrist and/or other services) depending on the presenting concerns.
