This is Me Psychology provides psychology consultations for adolescent, emerging adults,  families and adults. The private practice is based in Toorak.

Triage to Care is service provided by This is Me Psychology, that is also offered to adolescents who have been suspended from an independent school for substance use or other concerns. This service aims to see the adolescent within 24-48 hours of first contact and commence discussions with the school in terms of a plan to return to school.

Jodie Matar is the Principal Psychologist and Director. She is currently completing a PhD on the mental health concerns of adolescents in high socioeconomic contexts and how they seek help for these concerns.

"It can be a big step to talk about what is happening for us, no matter what stage of life we are in. My approach is a well-rounded blend of person-centred principles and evidence-based practices. I try to see adolescents outside of school hours where possible and work with a select number of clients.  Sometimes, adolescent concerns can be related to the family or the school environment. When this is the case, I work with families and schools".
